2L Technologies Launch Next Generation LON Routers.
2LT have released the industry first - 'tailored' fibre port option for LON (Local Operating Network) Fibre Products. This allows the customer to define their exact requirements dependant on the application, and thus gain a superior return on investment when using 2L Technologies Lon Networks.
2L Technologies have developed the Next Generation of LON Fibre Optic to Twisted Pair (Copper) LonWorks Routers, introducing a higher level of intelligent networking for LonWorks® applications. 2L products can be deployed quickly and easily, and the networks once formed are easy to manage and make changes to. They are also self regulating and offer full redundancy yielding much improved reliability.
2L offer LON Multimode Routers (supporting up to 3Km between nodes) and Single Mode Routers (supporting up to 80Km between nodes)
2L Routers have true (Duplex) single fibre operation for both transmit and receive, they auto re-configure, and when used in a redundant ring form a self-healing network. The Fibre Optic/Twisted Pair Router is a LoNTalk Router that provides the ability to connect a FTT-10, TPT/XF-78, or a TPT/XF-1250 twisted pair network to a 2L Technologies 1.25 Mbps fibre optic network.
2L Technologies family of optical to twisted pair routers are ideal for: Control Networks; Building Automation/Management; HVAC, lighting and access control applications.
All 2L Lon router products implement as standard: configured router, learning router, bridge and repeater functions and are network programmable and require ±10 to 50VDC or 12-30 VAC supply. Fibre optic networks provide high throughput, immunity to electromagnetic disturbances, the ability to handle ground potential differences and tamper-resistance.
