2L Technologies have developed the next generation of LON (Local Operating Network) Twisted Pair (Copper) Routers, introducing a higher level of intelligent networking for LonWorks® applications.
2L (Copper) Routers implement all the LonWorks® functions, including: Configured Router; Learning Router; Bridge or Repeater. The routers use the open standard LonTalk® communications protocol on both the copper ports. 2L Copper LON Routers are a cost effective networking solution ideally suited to all applications connecting copper twisted pair networks together, and extending to interconnect to other LON networks. 2L Routers are simple to install straight out of the box, and are fully compatible with LonMaker® and all LNS based network management tools.
